Position Overview:
As a Pathologists' Assistant, you’ll work alongside board-certified pathologists to assist in the gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens and the performance of postmortem examinations. This role is ideal for professionals who are detail-driven, highly organized, and thrive in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform gross dissection and description of a wide range of surgical specimens

• Assist with autopsy procedures, including evisceration and dissection

• Photograph specimens and perform dictation of gross descriptions

• Maintain and ensure the accuracy of laboratory records and logs

• Assist with training and supervision of pathology support staff

• Comply with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program

• PA(ASCP) certification or eligibility required

• Strong anatomical and medical terminology knowledge

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
