Position Summary
As a temporary Cytotechnologist, you will play a key role in the microscopic evaluation of GYN and non-GYN specimens, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses. You'll step into a collaborative and quality-driven environment where your skills will be valued from day one.
Key Responsibilities

Screen gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens

Identify abnormal cellular changes and document findings accurately

Stain, prepare, and evaluate samples using ThinPrep and/or SurePath techniques

Collaborate with pathologists on suspicious or complex cases

Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a life science field

Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Cytotechnology program

CT(ASCP) certification required

Strong microscopy skills and attention to detail

Prior experience with liquid-based cytology preferred

Ability to quickly adapt to new lab environments and workflows
