Position Summary
As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a key role in the detection of cellular abnormalities by screening and evaluating cytologic specimens. You’ll work closely with pathologists and laboratory professionals to ensure timely, accurate results that impact patient diagnosis and care.
Key Responsibilities

Microscopically examine gynecologic (GYN) and non-gynecologic (non-GYN) cytology specimens

Identify and document abnormal cellular changes

Prepare and stain cytologic samples using proper laboratory techniques

Maintain accurate records and case documentation

Work collaboratively with pathologists for case review and diagnosis

Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related science field

Completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program

CT(ASCP) certification required

Strong microscopy and analytical skills

High attention to detail and quality standards

Excellent communication and documentation skills
