We are currently seeking a certified Cytotechnologist for a full-time, permanent position at a well-established medical facility in Colorado. Position Overview

As a Cytotechnologist, you will evaluate cellular material from gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens using advanced laboratory techniques. You’ll play a key role in early detection and diagnosis, working alongside a collaborative team of lab professionals and pathologists.

Key Responsibilities

• Microscopically examine GYN and non-GYN cytology specimens for abnormal cell structures

• Identify, interpret, and document cytologic findings with precision

• Prepare and stain samples according to lab protocols and quality standards

• Collaborate with pathologists for further evaluation and final diagnosis

• Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards

• Uphold laboratory safety and regulatory standards including CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and HIPAA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field

• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Cytotechnology program

• CT(ASCP) certification required

• Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in microscopy

• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills

• Experience with ThinPrep and SurePath preferred, but not required
