Responsibilities

• Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens
• Assist with autopsies as required
• Accurately document and track specimens
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and hospital regulations
• Collaborate with pathologists, histotechnologists, and lab staff to maintain efficient workflow

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program
• ASCP PA(ASCP) certification required
• One or more years of experience in a high-volume pathology lab preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
