We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Histotechnologist for a temporary assignment at a respected medical facility in Maryland. Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll play a key part in preparing tissue samples for diagnostic evaluation. The ideal candidate is highly accurate, organized, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Embed, section, and stain tissue specimens using manual and automated techniques

• Perform routine and special staining procedures

• Maintain and troubleshoot histology instruments

• Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of specimens

• Comply with all laboratory safety and quality control standards

Qualifications:

• ASCP certification (HT or HTL) preferred

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field

• Prior experience in a clinical histology lab

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Ability to stay focused under pressure and manage multiple tasks
