$35/hour

$660/week lodging

$45/work day for meals

up to 750 mileage total reimbursement at IRS max rate for the drive between home and the hospital at the beginning of the contract and then at the end.

$25/work day car allowance.

 

3rd shift M-F 9pm - 5:30am. The histotechnician will perform all routine and special paraffin histotech duties in our state of the art, CAP-certified pathology laboratory. Under the guidance of a Senior or Lead Histotechnologist, you will provide high quality diagnostic material within established turn-around-times. Position Responsibilities:Embeds, cuts, stains and performs other tasks required to process tissue in the Immunohistochemistry laboratory. Performs accurate gross description on tissue samples. Perform quality control procedures established for each method and maintains accurate records. Operates all instruments/ equipment according to accepted written procedures and recognizes and identifies instrument/ equipment problems.
