Nicklas Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced pathologists’ assistant for a permanent position at a well-established laboratory in Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a high-quality lab, working alongside pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure accurate and efficient specimen processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens
• Assist with autopsies as needed
• Document and track specimens with precision
• Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and hospital regulations
• Collaborate with pathologists, histotechnologists, and lab staff to support accurate diagnoses

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program
• ASCP PA(ASCP) certification required
• One or more years of experience in a high-volume pathology lab preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
