Position Summary

In this role, you'll work alongside board-certified pathologists to support gross examination of surgical specimens and autopsy procedures. This assignment is perfect for a flexible, detail-oriented PA(ASCP) who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform gross dissection and description of surgical specimens

• Assist with autopsy procedures including evisceration and dissection

• Document findings through dictation and photography

• Maintain laboratory records and ensure regulatory compliance

• Adhere to CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program

• PA(ASCP) certification or certification-eligible

• Strong knowledge of anatomical and pathological processes

• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

• Previous travel or contract experience is a plus, but not required
